About us

Dagenham Classes
Since 1990 , Becontree Ju-Jitsu Club has been providing Martial Arts in Dagenham, Essex.
The Club is held in Seabrook Community Centre, Hall Drive ( off Wood Lane ) Dagenham , Essex (Near Dagenham Swimming Pool )
The club has a punch bag, Various punching / kicking pads and a full array of weaponry. We have three mat areas to train on as well as a area for weapons.
We now run under 7 year old clubs , Ladies Classes , Kali Stick fighting classes at this hall.

Collier Row Class

The Collier Row class has only been open since 2008 , But has regular members from the local Clockhouse school. The Methodist Church Hall is near to Clockhouse School.
We have two nice sized halls equipped with mats , kicking pads

All of Our Clubs are run By Ray Egleton and Lorraine Egleton , Our clubs has been opened for over 18 years and we pride ourselves on being a happy and friendly club.


Junior Students
We regularly hold competitions and trophies , certificates, we also run a merit badge system where the student can practice and perfect techniques and earn themselves a badge.
On grading days we hire the hall , so the students can show their friends and family the techniques they have learned to achieve their next belt, a award is given to the student who performed the best grading of the day.
We also organise a student of the month award on which a student will be given a certificate and their picture will be displayed on the club news board and published on the club web site.
All of the above clubs are affiliated to the Jikishin Ju-Jitsu Association which is headed by Professor Terry Parker &  Brian Herbert

Juniors :
Wednesday 6.30pm to 7.30pm
Friday 5.00pm to 5.40pm ( for 7 year old & under )
Friday 5.40pm to 6.40pm
Sunday 11.00am to 12.00pm
 
New Little Tigers club has opened at Seabrook Hall on Friday Nights for the younger children below 7 years old. 5.00pm to 5.40pm
Friday normal kids club is now at 5.45pm to 6.45pm

Adults & Juniors:

Wednesday  7.30pm  to 8.15pm
Extra Class teaching stick fighting etc

METHODIST CHURCH , COLLIER ROW

Juniors:

Monday 3.40pm to 4.40pm
